Call for expression of Interest No: 002/03/2020/GRC 2020
Gahini Rehabilitation Center (GRC ) has received financial support from the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ: 75%) and 25% from Christian Blind Mission (CBM) to implement the three-year project in Kayonza District, Eastern Province of Rwanda entitled “Improvement of Health Services for People with Disabilities in Rwanda”. The project started on 01/04/2017 and is expected to end on 30/06/2020.
Therefore, Gahini Rehabilitation Center (GRC) wishes to recruit a suitable consultant or team of consultants to conduct a final evaluation of the above-mentioned project. The consultants or teams of consultants fulfilling the below criteria are called to express their interest in conducting this evaluation. .

Qualifications for Submission an Expression of Interest
• Ph.D. degree or Master’s degree related to Social Sciences, community or international development, economic and social development-related studies, Organisational Development or similar.
• Proven working experience with NGOs or INGOs and the Government sector in the field of disability, Community Based Inclusive Development (CBR/CBID), Health services, livelihood, and economic development.
• Proven records in research and consultancy experience of at least 5 years providing high-quality services and creative advice
• Experience in the evaluation of similar programmes and sound knowledge of PCM and evaluation criteria
• Experience in participatory approach is a must as well as facilitation skills
• Good analytical skills, proven working experience in the field of disability and inclusive development
• Knowledge about local context, policies, and laws for persons with disabilities in Rwanda.
• Technical expertise in the field of physical rehabilitation and inclusive education is an asset
• Excellent writing skills, ability to write in a structured and concise manner
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Clearance certificate from Rwanda Revenue Authority.
• Ideally, teams should consist of men and women and should include persons with disabilities, but not a requirement.
