EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF EARY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT (ECD) CENTER AT TRINITY NYAKABINGO MINE LTD

Trinity Nyakabingo Mine is seeking for a qualified and experienced construction Company/Individual to undertake the construction of an Early Childhood Development (ECD) centre for its employees in Shyorongi Sector, Rulindo District. The proposed project aims to contribute to the well-being and development of children of Trinity Nyakabingo workforce through the provision of quality early childhood education infrastructure as well as providing protective interventions in early childhood to support healthy brain development as per the national policy on ECD development.

Scope of Work

The scope of work includes but not limited to the following.

Site Preparation

• Soil testing and geotechnical analysis

Civil Works

• Foundations, structural framework, roofing
• Masonry, plastering, and finishing
• Installation of doors, windows, and ceilings

Electrical and Plumbing

• Internal and external electrical systems
• Lighting fixtures, sockets, and safety measures
• Plumbing systems including water supply and sanitation

Interior and Furnishings (optional depending on scope)

• Painting and wall finishes
• Floor finishes
• Built-in furniture (where applicable)

External Works

• Walkways and ramps for accessibility
• Landscaping and fencing
• Construction of playground facilities

Compliance & Safety

• Ensuring construction complies with national building codes
• Adhering to environmental and social safeguards
• Ensuring worker safety on-site

All interested parties should submit an Expressions of Interest in accordance with the below requirements complete with supporting documents.

• Application Letter introducing your Company/Individual with a brief business and experience profile including qualifications and experience.
• Certificate of domestic company registration issued by RDB.
• VAT Registration.
• Valid income tax clearance issued by RRA
• Scope and value of previous Professional Work undertaken.

Expressions of Interest received after 11:00AM on 4thJuly 2025. will unfortunately not be considered.

Further discussion will be undertaken with selected respondents to prove the competence of the bidder and thereafter an invitation to tender will be provided to the bidder.
