JOB DETAILS:
Business Development Manager

YOUR ROLE
Support the organization through development management and leadership of the sales team in Rwanda .Plan and implement sales strategies that will gain business and attain country budget goals.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
• Lead the commercial business growth and development for Rwanda in line with the commercial budget as well as strategy.
• Manage the sales team in Rwanda in line with the commercial targets, budget and sales reporting mechanism.
• Manage all aspects of sales reporting including CRM, sales pipeline, activity, leads and commercial budget.
• Takes part in the contract negotiations of the customer, and provides communication with other departments during the contract negotiations.
• Support network Route Development Managers, Product Managers, Global Account Managers, Key Account Managers and CEVA Global Head Office management.
• Create and ensure the sales team have new sales prospects and maintained through CRM updates aligned to sales pipeline management process.
• Promote, develop Ceva Logistics brand in the Rwanda market and support the group with market intelligence, statistics and benchmarking.
• Recruit, Train, Coach and Develop a good working culture amongst all team members towards nurturing sales leaders including succession planning internally.
• Ensure that the country sales KPI’s are met by the sales team .Build and maintain client relationships toward a sustainable business strategy and growth plan
• Manage, document and communicate Customer Requirements and oversee operational implementation
• Arrange business reviews (MBR or QBR) with internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• 8 years in sales, freight forwarding industry with a multinational freight forwarder
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, commercial and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the international logistics industry.
• Deep expertise in developing integrated supply chain & logistics solutions relevant in Ocean.
• Process driven and always seeking for continuous improvement.
