JOB DETAILS:
Reporting to the Head of Operations and Logistics, the job holder will provide managerial support related to security of cash and reduction of risk of cash in branches and manage all banks ’physical cash money held. The role is responsible for planning, supervising, directing and controlling cash operations for KCB Bank Rwanda in order to ensure branches are served and risk of keeping idle cash is minimized. .

Job Responsibilities:
• Decide on branches ‘cash request and serve them as per operational procedures with respect TAT and set limits.
• Support repatriation of all excess LCY cash money into BNR all times and exportation of all excess FCY without failure.
• Make sure that collection of cash from branch network (both local and foreign currency) are made in line with set limit.
• Responsible for general administration of staff in Central currency unit and Offsite ATM Team.
• Manage all cash held by Central currency Unit, and make sure that all cash money held by the Bank is within the set limit.
• Make sure all offsite ATMs are loaded with adequate cash and monitor activities regarding offsite ATMs overall performance.
• Main custodian of cash held in the vault in order to mitigate against risk of loss.
• Coordinate all movements of cash in transit and cash escort through the relevant body as per set guidelines.
• Ensure that the operations for CCU are managed in a manner that fosters teamwork, high performance, integrity and transparency.
• Authorize all transactions relating to CCU, and ensure that all cash sent to branches and BNR are all sorted and only FIT notes are sent back into circulation.

Job Qualifications:
• University Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in banking industry, especially in cash management
• Proven record of integrity and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of regulations governing cash management.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
